At this point, I’m sure you are just as confused as I am about this awkward weather that we have been having. In the Spring, its common for the forecast to run the gamut from gusty to temperate, even in a single day. With temps as low as 40 in the morning and mid 70s in the middle of the day, the temperamental weather can surely throw us for a loop. Luckily, there is a simple solution for dressing. Lightweight layers. You’ll never be unprepared even when this weather is incredibly indecisive (read: neurotic). To inspire you, I created a look that you can mirror so you too can display your on-point layering skills for in between weather.

Pairing a short sleeve tee with a sweatshirt and/or lightweight jacket makes for a casual chic combo that will combat all the elements. Match your spring jackets with their under layer counterparts and always follow the three piece rule…always incorporate a third article of clothing to make your outfit look more put together, more sophisticated and more styled (with intent).
