If you know me, you know I love me some Christmas! And as I mentioned in my video, I find it to be super uber romantic. Except…it seems that I don’t ever have a boyfriend at Christmas time. So I guess it’s really just the thought of it being romantic and filled with love is what I love about it. I think it’s the love and spirit in the air that gets me excited. The music. The lights. The coffee and Bailey’s. Sitting next to the fireplace.
Plus, my parents are SO fun to be around. Like, we die of laughter. We’re goofy. We’re crude and sometimes I wonder if I’d run my future man away because of our “no f***s given” attitude. It’s fun, all the time and so ridiculously silly and I honestly wouldn’t want it any other way.
I adore gift giving. I also have realized that not everyone I gift gifts to receive their love in that way. But, receiving gifts is one of my love languages. Physical touch is by far the most important way I receive love. Words of affirmation (I think) and receiving gifts are interchangeable at two and three. Giving gifts can be an amazing thing. It’s a way to show people just how much they mean to you. Perhaps some people would like to consider gifting personalized presents to their loved ones. You could gift someone a diamond painting from your photo. That would be a good gift. They could create the diamond painting and they would be left with a lovely photo. That’s a fun and special gift. Things like that often mean more to people than something bought from the store, so make sure to find special gifts.
