Fall Jewelry Trends ft. EBJ Gallery

This Fall season, larger-than-life statement jewelry is on a whole other level and we have the pics to prove it! I happen to always think ‘the bigger the better’ or ‘the more the merrier’ when it comes to jewelry, but recently seen on the runway in Paris, the Nineties are back in a big way with rebellious jewelry to match. Some people are quick to compare the pieces to those they’d find when reading the About Us – Haruni Fine Gems page, and with the vibrant gemstones on display it isn’t the biggest surprise. It’s a striking and daring look that’d fit anyone with a matching personality!

Here’s how you should wear your jewelry this Fall!

1). Layer necklaces – Just one pendant necklace? Come on, layer it in between five or six if you dare. Wear multiple necklaces in stacks between your leather jacket, dress, or hoody and over a sweater (with mixed influences for ex: pearls & gold or gold & crystals).

2). Single earrings – The polar opposite of point one, just earring can be enough to make a statement. Often it’s the only good way to wear hoops, ear cuffs, or bamboo earrings right now (but you can cheat and wear a small stud in the other ear).

3). Layer pearls – Strings of pearls have emerged back onto the trending page and are not as traditional as they used to be! Wear them around your shoulders, waist, or wrists (not legs, they’re more likely to fall off) in multiple wraps and layers to create interesting focal points. You can even wear them with denim or a graphic t-shirt.

4). Must haves: surrealist necklaces and oversized chokers. Enough said.

5). Cuffs should be layered over sleeves and gloves or worn up just above the elbow or cinched above forearm.

About the particular jewelry, I’m wearing! Eishia Brightwell is the head designer and founder of EBJ Gallerya woman-owned and run company! Designing on a non-traditionalist platform, each piece she makes by hand and are all one-of-a-kind. Her inspiration comes from her international travels where she finds unique gemstones. She also has a knack for finding industrial pieces where she repurposes the hardware and turns it into stunning jewelry. Her work has the perfect balance of feminine/masculine and classic chic/contemporary, making her designs truly timeless. Eishia’s work caters to the confident woman who enjoys making a statement and doesn’t mind standing out in a crowd. She is constantly adding new pieces to her site, to be sure to check back in frequently!

A lot of people nowadays are concerned about the ethics behind diamonds and other forms of jewelry. This is something I understand, and so if you only wear ethical jewelry, I’d like to point you in the direction of Gema & CO. They use moissanite rather than diamonds to ensure each piece is conflict-free and a socially and environmentally responsible choice.

You can follow EBJ on Instagram @ebj_gallery or visit her site www.ebjgallery.com to purchase a piece.
