What I Wore: The Backwards Baseball Hat
I remember as a kid, I would be scolded for stealing my brothers Little League hats and wearing them backwards (now that I think about it, eww! A 12 year olds sweaty and dirty hat?! Where’s the paper bag?).
It’s vague as to whether I was being scolded for being a nuisance for stealing it, or if it was because I would wear it backwards like the boys. I was/am a tomboy, I play sports but also like to wear dresses. I love the juxtaposition of mixing the two! Very feminine mixed with very edgy…well, I guess that’s my thing!
Regardless, I wear my hats backwards from time to time now as an adult. Maybe this is a childish thing to do, but I feel like a super stylish and fun kid when I do it! Mom…don’t scold me!
