Ladies…single in the city or beau-ed up and have a hot date, but can’t figure out what to wear? Here are some ideas!
My suggestion is to always be classy but what’s wrong with a little sexiness too? My most favorite pant in my closet at the moment are my faux leather pants. They are haute (even if they aren’t real)!! I paired my pants with a soft baby pink sweater (tied to accentuate waist-if you don’t have a sweater that ties, use a thin belt to cinch), a loose fitting blouse tucked in, and a printed blazer to make my look softer and warmer. It’s edgy but classy and sophisticated at the same time. Party on the bottom business on the top! If you don’t have leather pants, replace them with a black pair of jeans or tailored black slacks.
I’m so in love with my heels I got from TJ Maxx…they are just to die for, and comfortable (nothing worse than seeing a woman struggle walking in her shoes…inexpensive or expensive shoes, make sure they are agreeable with your feet!). I rock these shoes with jeans and a t-shirt as well. You can even order in bulk if you want to gift some to your close friends and family. Keeping that aside and coming back, my suggestion would be to pair your leather pants with a sleek pump (nothing chunky). The pants are sleek and sexy and they need to be paired with an equally sleek and sexy shoe. You could also throw a black booty on too.
I’m wearing a fairly loud necklace, to balance out the pants but I couldn’t have done the necklace if I had on a loud top (color wise or design wise). Similarly, some chunky jewelry would be the perfect pairing for a more muted blouse or t-shirt. The baby pink allows for a statement piece as does the blazer, even though it’s printed, it’s neutral. You could always add a simple gold custom name necklace as well. You may be surprised in hearing that the smallest and most delicate pieces of jewelry can sometimes make the biggest statements, especially if you opt to wear a necklace that has the standard chain of 16″-18″. For some outfits, this is the perfect length for a necklace as you don’t want it to take away from the clothes you’ve paired it with.
